Steampunk, often associated with bewhiskered gents clad in khakis and wearing large brass goggles, often sporting brass weaponry with what appears to be plumbing lines on it, which emits death rays of various sorts, is not the natural and easy stretch for porn that, say, Slave Leia cosplay is.
