The Search for the Real Dejah Thoris

Is this the REAL Dejah Thoris? We certainly think so!

As I've pointed out in a previous post, Disney Studios will be releasing John Carter of Mars, the second movie based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom novels to be released since Burroughs first started writing them back in 19 fricking 12! That's right, when the Disney movie comes out it will be only the second film to be made based on Burroughs story is 100 fricking years!

As I also pointed out in my previous post, Burroughs had his Martian characters running around pretty much stark naked in his novels. And the recently released trailer indicates that, as you might assume, Disney is gonna sidestep that whole nudity thing and in fact avoid the sexy clothing altogether.

Well I don't think a single blog post is enough to do justice to Disney's overdressed Princess of Mars vs. all the great naked Princess of Mars imagery that others have created, so I've started a new department in Bondagerotica called The Search for the Real Dejah Thoris, in which I demonstrate all the different ways Dejah Thoris has been portrayed over the years.

I start with four articles covering Disney's John Carter of Mars movie, Asylum Studio's Princess of Mars movie, then go to Marvel's Warlord of Mars comics from the 1970s, and also include Dynamite Entertainment's excellent Warlord of Mars: Dejah Thoris comics. And there will of course be more further down the line.

Bondage fans will find Dynamite Entertainment's entry particularly of interest, they have a LOT of images of hot, sexy, naked Dejah Thoris in chains, as seen in the illustration that accompanies this article. Check 'em all out, though, Marvel had some chained Dejah Thoris goodness too.

A Lovely Animated Scene

What a happy scene!

Most of the time, the Drawn Together animated series didn't do a hell of a lot for me. The humor was for the most part childish and gross, even (actually especially) when it's "adult" humor. But every once in a while, they scored.

Here Foxy Love and Princess Clara are about to enjoy an idyllic lesbian bondage tryst as Princess Clara lies chained in a dungeon and Foxy Love "rescues" her.

The thing that really makes this image hilarious is the way the artists have had their way with the Disneyesque birds, in a wonderful parody of Cinderella.

A pair of bluebirds is happily engaged in sliding Princess Clara's scanty panties off her leg while a happy chipmunk looks on approvingly. Another happy bluebird has wedged itself between the dungeon wall and the sconce bearing a candle that is directly above Princess Pea, dripping hot candle wax down onto her now pretty much naked form.

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is an actual image from the show or somebody's fantasy. It could easily be other one: Drawn Together did some VERY kinky stuff. (Anyone remember Princess Clara's tentacle pussy?)

Whoever did it, that's good parody, yes it is.
