Panther Girl Fantasy

I found a lot of SL Gorean videos on Youtube in my research for the Unreal Estate story, many not related to real estate, but celebrations of SL Gor. They’re a mixed bag as you might expect, but a few of them are great, and this one is a greatly great. Entitled “Gor: Sweet Escape” it’s a video about panther girls (wild women who live in the forest and fight each other and hunt for men and one another for sexual purposes, and are hunted by men for sexual purposes).

The thing that makes this video especially powerful and evocative is the way the imagery and the music (“Pocketful of Sunshine” by Natasha Bedingfield) are combined. It conveys very powerfully the emotional appeal of the panther girl fantasy, in a way that rational discourse, or even the kind of discourse I typically engage in, could ever manage.

Hercules and the Tyrants of Babylon

"Say, this being chained together is great fun!" "Yes, indeedy!" "I love it!" "When we get home, we must INSIST that we be chained up all the time!" "Huzzah!"

OK, I might be paraphrasing just a LEETLE bit here. The scene is a vidcap from Hercules and the Tyrants of Babylon, this week's movie review. Like Thor and the Amazon Women, it's full of a number of things: intrigue, betrayal, cavalry charges, revolting slaves (I mean, just LOOK at the dresses those women are wearing!) secret tunnels, secret pigeons and the stupidest civil engineering feat in the history of civilization. It's definitely worth a look!

Sand gets in everything!

Remember when I said I'd show you an image very much like the one in Plazabound only from a modern day event? Well, here it is -- an image of a stark naked woman staked out on the desert floor while other people blithely bicycle past her. It is NOT a scene from a movie or a bit of performance art.

It's Dee Luvbight of LuvBight.com having a great time at the annual Burning Man festival. Burning Man is an annual festival held during the week prior to Labor Day in the Black Rock Desert about a hundred miles outside Reno, Nevada ("right next door" by Far West standards). And the rules really are different at Burning Man, as you can see, not "different" in that fakey, kitschy wan Florida advertises its differences.

We're not sure what the cyclists think of the naked woman with the rings in her pubes lying staked out on the salt flats with her legs spread wide, gagged and blindfolded. But we ARE sure that hubbie Mick Luvbight took the pictures and stood by ready to pull up stakes, so to speak, if Dee had gone all safeword-y on him.


Of course the cyclists could be a bit blase because they've seen such things before at Burning Man ...
