Saving Grace's Envelope-ripping bondage scene

"Saving Grace" is an FX Network TV series that stars Holly Hunter as a hard-living police detective who drinks hard, parties hard, and in a certain episode, winds up cuffed naked to her own bed while being sexed up by an one-night-stand pickup, much to her delight. Normally TV and many movies use a lot of tricks to make such scenes less fun to watch -- dim lights, quick cutting, camera angles that show you a lot of pillow and not much flesh, that sort of thing. Not so "Saving Grace.

Check out this article illustrated with caps from the episode and also images from comparable scenes from "Law and Order SVU," "Birthday Girl" and "Spun."

I want to join "the Conspiracy Against Decency", but I don't receive FX channel. Where do I sign up?

You don't have to JOIN the Conspiracy Against Decency, Jay. :::Noble expression, gazing into the distance::: The Conspiracy is everywhere, and nowhere. The Conspiracy exists, wherever a guy is thinking about or doing something the Flanderses of the world would disapprove of, whether it's going to a nudie bar, cruising the Web for porn at work, or just tying up your wife. Women are part of the conspiracy, too. Whenever a woman goes out in public wearing sexy/revealing clothes, or says or does anything a regular guy would like and a Flanderses wouldn't like, she's part of the Conspiracy, too. Thus, bondage models and porn models? Conspirators, all. The woman I once saw wearing a T-shirt that said, "You've been a naughty boy, go to my room"? A conspirator, for sure. Readers of this blog? Conspirators, for the most part. The author of this blog? If the Conspiracy were organized like the Masons, I'd be a High Exalted something or other, you can just bet.
