Slave Girls Channel on Youtube

I'd say Spartacus TV series on the Starz network is doing slave girl imagery about as well as any mainstream source ever has. Here we have a naked, barbarously bedecked slave girl being used sexually for the amusement of Romans. That's a slavegirl! Nothing like it on the Youtube channel, of course. Looking at the comments section of this blog, I found a reference to a Youtube channel called Slave Girls that was being started up back in 2010. It's basically a bunch of mainstream scenes of slave girls on television, and on the sort of movies that could be shown on mainstream television uncut. There's a sort of goofy humor to them, especially the stuff from Hayes Code era movies and 1960s television, when slavegirls could be sexy but not in any way that could make you understand their sexiness, other than being attractive and female. There's not a lot of actual bondage (I think a scene of Jasmine in chains from Aladdin and a video of image of Slavegirl Leai from Star Wars is about it) and no sex, as you might expect.

There's also some wrestling videos that are more problematical, images of women on their hands and knees so burly wrestlers can use them as a stepping stone to get into the ring. I'm not sure what to make of them except, you know ... wrassling ...

Claudette Colbert Kissed While In Bondage

Check out that happy smirk on Claudette Colbert's face after she's kissed while collared and cuffed at the wrists! I've seen that expression before!

A brief and pleasant clip now on Bondage Television from I Cover the Waterfront with hottie Claudette Colbert enjoying some kisses while strapped in a torture device. Consensual bondage, in short, though of course it was not presented as such, just a young couple horsing around in a romantic sort of way.

Note the date: 1933, a year before the Hayes Code rang down the curtains on anything resembling sexual perversion in films. From then on, if you put a woman in a torture device, you damn well better be torturing her ... preferably to death! THAT'S the moral thing to do ... in those days, anyway, when cultural conservatives ruled the movie screens ... and there were no television screens.

Roman Scandals

Now, those are WIGS hiding the nudity of the slavegirls chained to the giant cake in Roman Scandals. But they're naked beneath those wigs! This movie just slid into being before the Hayes Code neutered American films for decades.

Over at Bondagerotica I have a well-vidcapped review of "Roman Scandals," a weird Eddie Cantor comedy that slipped a load of nudity, bondage, slavegirls and general kinkiness into the American movie scene just prior to the descent of the infamous Hayes Code in 1934. Much of the stuff that's touted as pre-Hayes Code raunch could be aired at 8 p.m. on any weeknight and no one would even notice ... or watch -- even the Flanderses who claim to like censored stuff so much, because by modern standards it's pretty dull, for the most part, women thinking about having sex but not being seen doing it or getting naked or anything.

This movie delivers on the nakedness, to the fullest extent possible in 1933.
