Here's a damsel in distress scene from "Blood Relic" a horror flick. It's one of those peril scenes where a noose around a damsel in distress' neck is attached to a door which her rescuers have to open to get to her. Door opens, damsel strangles.
That's not the point of my post, however. The point is, the nudity of the damsel. Check out how it affects the drama of the scene. It ramps up the vulnerability and helplessness of the damsel, far beyond what it would be if she was clothed. As I wrote in The Power of Nude Bondage" this is an incredibly useful technique for increasing the drama of a scene.
