Halfway Victory Achieved Over Kling AI Censorship, Sort Of!

Kling did not want this video made... but I made it anyway... with Kling AI... and Leonardo AI... and Second Life... and CapCut! (You can buy "Sword and Submission," the book this promotes, right here!)

I based the video on the promo artwork I did yesterday, hence the remarkable similarity between it and the video, whch are more or less the same  except for the motion. I submitted the artwork to Kling, sans type, along with a prompt saying "a beautiful woman dances in a tavern." I expected a motion video. I got Kling's ever-so-unhelpful message saying "Upload Failed. Please upload a different image." A quick trip to Google-land interpreted this bland message as, "This is NSFW PORN, you PERVERT! Put clothes on the people in your image and stop making them have evil, degenerate sex!"

Which was weird, because there was no nudity in the image or the prompt, just a woman dressed in a bikini dancing for a bunch of guys wearing loincloths. If this is porn, so is every last beach movie ever made, going right back to those 1960s films starring Annette Funicello and Tommy Sands or whomever. Way to go, Kling AI!

So I figured the Kling's automated censor might be gender-confused: there were lots of huge, naked breasts on the male tavern customers, and there was a beautiful woman, so the censor somehow got beautiful woman with huge, naked breasts. If only. So I tested the theory. I uploaded the two images separately. It was easy because the woman was on a different layer in GIMP than the tavern in the background. The woman is  the usual SL avatar run through Leonardo AI (to escape Leonardo's stupid censorship) to get a lifelike naked woman. 

Weirdly enough, it worked. Well, not as much as I'd hoped. I tried uploading the naked image of dancing slave Zindra, hoping it would slide past. It did not, dammit. So I uploaded clothed slave Zindra to Kling AI and no problem. I also tried uploading naked Zindra to Kling AI to see if she could slide by all by her lonesome, but no, Kling responded with its unhelpful message and didn't give me a video.

The tavern and its brawny bare-chested occupants were the product of a prompt from Leonardo (did not ask for nudity or sex) and after I ran a couple of iterations, I had an image that worked. I uploded it to Kling all by its lonesome with no problem.

Just a bunch of guys drinking without any dancing slavegirls to fuck them.

Somehow I had to get those two videos together, and by "somehow" I mean with the aid of a video editing program called Capcut. It's a free program, well a nerfed version is free. With the nerfed version you can still stack several videos atop one another. Full program rents for $30 a month. The paid version has a pushbutton background eliminator that's sweet but I make do with the nerfed version because $$. It can eliminate backgrounds, too, but it's more of a PITA than the pushbutton version. So I took pains and overlapped the two vids, and exported them and got the video at the top of the post. Was it worth it? No idea, but it was interesting and fun, and I got a short but good video out of it.

The Billionaire and the Dancing Slave Girl Now On Smashwords

"The Billionaire and the Dancing Slave Girl" by Pat Powers, known on Amazon as "The Billionaire and the Dancing Slavegirl" by Skyler Kennedy, is now on sale on Smashwords. 

There's an interesting story behind the name change. "Billionaire" is a kinky erotic romance with an HEA (Happily Ever After). I've read that the vast majority of erotic romance readers are women. And that they tended to be suspicious of male writers of erotic romances. So for this story I decided to don a blonde wig and write as Skyler Kennedy, female erotic romance writer and see what happened to sales. Would a female name make up for the lack of the Pat Powers imprimatur?

The answer, sadly, was "no." Sales were poorer than most of my Pat Powers stories. Though the book didn't fall off a cliff economically like my lesbian sexual dimorphism fantasy erotic bdsm romance "Tiny, Big." Which may have been a much tinier niche thant it should have been. Microniches lead to micro sales.

My current WIP is novella length and will very likely go to novel length, so to get something published this month I dusted off "Billionaire" which is a FINE kinky erotic romance with lots of maledom/femsub sexual bondage, as well as an orgy, public nudity and public sex, involving a motorcycle gang. It's a much better story than its sales under the Skyler Kennedy pseudonym would indicate. We'll see how it does on Smashwords. Er, Direct to Digital.

Check out the veil on that dancing slavegirl!

It's a fine cover, just not as sexy as it could be. The hardest part of it was the veil. The model for the bellydancer's face was bare in the Deposit Photos image. Clothed models often do not care to have their faces visible on erotica novel covers. So I did the logical thing: I went to Second Life and pulled up a veil and made screenshots of it at the angle I needed. Then I pasted on top of the model's face. It took a bit of finicky work to get it to look natural, but when you're a whiz-bang GIMP user like me, no problem.

The only real change to the new cover is the dancer. I wanted someone more naked to take advantage of the greater freedom Smashwords gives to authors with regard to covers. I also wanted a more active, sexy pose. So it was off to Second Life where I ran an appropriately costumed avatar through a few dance animations and took photos of the avatar as it danced. I got quite a few lively images but the one that really stood out is this one:

I liked the exploded hair, the way the arms are lost in the hair, the curvy hips and breasts, and the dynamic pose of the legs. But a lot of the joins in the body, like the inner thighs and especially the left waist were off, and the hair was too angular. So it was off to Leonardo AI, where I was planning to go anyway.

I ran the image above through Leonardo AI's Image to Image program and after several iteration, I got this:

All the problems I had had with the avatar image resolved with the press of a button. Fricking miraculous. 

I ran the Leonardo AI image through a background remover on Deposit Photos and the image above is what resulted. I shrank it and placed it on the Deposit Photos background image of the billionaire and bob's yer uncle, new cover.

Unreal Estate

I thought the real estate game couldn’t get any more unreal.

I was wrong. Oh, so wrong.

The image above is from the Youtube video embedded below. It is part of an ad for people to come live in “The City of Sand Sleen.” Where is the City of Sand Sleen? On Second Life’s Gor section, of course. You can buy property there. Or rent. Your choice. Of course, the place doesn’t exist in the real world, so that’s a downside for sure. But at least you’re paying for it with unreal Linden dollars.

Except -- Linden dollars aren’t COMPLETELY unreal. You can buy them with US currency. The current rate is 1000 Linden dollars for $4.16 US. Which means $1US equal $250 Linden, more or less. Which means Linden bucks have real value. In fact, they are more valuable than many foreign currencies. Linden bucks are worth almost TEN TIMES what the Columbian peso is worth ($1US equals 2,305 Columbian pesos, according to a currency exchange chart I just consulted.)

So I guess it makes sense to advertise unreal property on Youtube. There’s apparently good money to be made … especially if you live in Columbia.

(Does anybody remember the old saying that goes: Neurotics are people that build castles in the air, psychotics are people who live in those castles, and psychiatrists are people who charge them rent?)

Full disclosure: I have a house in SL Gor. But: such a deal! I’m getting in on the ground floor of this real estate boom before it explodes!

And, finally: is this so different from what the bankers and real estate moguls were doing before their schemes blew up in everyone’s faces? At least the folks in Second Life are being up front about what they are selling.
