Deathstalker: An Incredibly Gorean Movie

This is a review of the 1983 movie "Deathstalker" which will point out the Gorean influences in the film and also be pretty freaking entertaining. It's from my book "The Hottitude of Servitude: Slavegirls In The Movies and On TV" but has been revised and updated.

Watching this Youtubevideo about sexy 80sfantasy movies was a trying experience for me. The movie reviewer just kept missing the obvious Gorean influences on the scripts and in the scenes. The Gor novels sold six to twelve million copies in the 80s and 90s, HUGE for the science fiction and fantasy genre. We're not talking Fifty Shades of Gray here, but DEFINITELY a precursor... yet no one mentions them as influential. So let me be the one!

Take the opening of what is probably one of the best (maybe the best, certainly one of the most influential) of the 80s sword and sorcery movies, 1983’s “Deathstalker” (the first movie in the series). It is also arguably the finest Gor movie ever made, even if it wasn't called a Gor movie. Here’s a vidcap of the scene:

Half naked woman in bondage, check. Handsome hero with slave rape on his mind, check. Ugly barbarians in background, check. This is so fucking Gorean!

In this scene the mostly naked woman in the foreground is in bondage the whole time. She’s got a rope around her neck and her hands are tied in front. She is a captive of the slaver guy standing immediately behind her, and he's put her on the leaf-strewn rock table so he can rape her. The guys seen in the background interrupt his plan with their own plan, which is to kill him and rape the woman themselves.

Then Deathstalker shows up and kills all the ambusher guys. To show his gratitude the slaver guy offers Deathstalker the use of his woman, but then tries to kill Deathstalker, who is way ahead of him and kills the slaver guy easily.

Then instead of freeing the woman Deathstalker binds her by stabbing a handy tree with a big knife and draping her bound wrists over the blade, and then he starts raping her. But he's interrupted by a priest messenger for the king, who's got a mission for Deathstalker. Deathstalker talks with him for a bit and says "Fine I'll talk the king after I finish raping this woman"... only to discover that while he has been distracted by the priest-messenger, she had gotten free of her bonds (knives are a kinda of dumb thing to hang women tied by ropes from) and she has scarfered off into the forest.

Turns out Deathstalker is in the mood for some slave rape of the damsel he just rescued, too. Heroes and villains both have the same thing in mind for slavegirls. So Gorean!

Now THAT'S how you start a Gor movie! The poor, half-naked female captive is in bondage the whole time, captive of three different groups of men, all of whom want to rape her while she’s bound, including the titular hero!

And it doesn’t stop there. There’s Kaira, the naked female warrior whose wonderfully full breasts are on display almost every time she’s on screen (and she’s onscreen a lot) ably played by Lana Clarkson (RIP). And there’s a harem full of mostly naked cuties, sometimes caged cuties, one of whom is played by former Playboy Playmate Barbi Benton, who as a prize in a killing contest, gets a filmy negligee ripped off her otherwise naked body while she’s chained to a rock wall, followed by some barbaric smooging on her while she’s still chained up. And there’s women wrestling naked in mud as part of the entertainment at the same party where Barbi gets stripped.

Princess Codille loses the negligee and gets smooged on in the midst of a barbaric party in the castle.

There’s also a scene of a bunch of bad guys attacking a different woman than the one in the opening scene who’s also tied to a tree, though not as naked, and also rescued by Deathstalker of course.)

And there are tons of scenes of Deathstalker beating up bad guys with his fists and stabbing bad guys with his sword. Of course, that’s nothing new in a sword and sorcery adventure movie, but heroic adventure and fighting bad guys is also a part of the Gor novels, that and sporting with the slavegirls. A lot. Often while they are bound and gagged.

(BTW, the 2025 Deasthstalker movie has no, repeat, no, sex or nudity in it. I haven’t seen it, but one of the review sites straight out said “no sex, no nudity” and I watched a couple of reviews and none of them mentioned nudity or sexy times. To be fair, Deathstalker 2025 is generally praised for being full of really well-made fight scenes and lots of well done practical effects. It is probably the perfect pre-pubescent sword and sorcery movie, at least, for pre-pubescents who aren’t bothered by lots and lots and lots of gore. In fact, the right way to describe the movie would be, “lots and lots of gore, but no Gor.”)

“Deathstalker” is generally cited as the best of the sword and sorcery movies that came out after the success of John Milius’ “Conan” and for good reason. I totally agree with that assessment. I just don’t think its success was strictly because it was a knockoff of “Conan the Barbarian.” I think its success was because it was one of the few movies that had the balls to copy the Gor novels and give plenty of screen time to all the sexy naked slavegirls being in bondage and doing sexy naked slavegirl things along with all the swordfighting and general whupass. Most sword and sorcery movies concentrate on the whupass and feature a cookie-cutter plot and give scant screen time to their scantily clad slavegirls, which is a definite mistake, but one that B-movie filmmakers seem determined to make, over and over again. (Did I mention that Deathstalker 2525 has no sex or nudity? I believe I did.)

Sexy, sexy harem girl provided plenty of sexy scenery for the movie as well.

However, I did some research using Google’s AI search engine and was unable to find any evidence that anybody associated with Conan or Deathstalker had been influenced in any way by the Gor novels.

Except of course there IS evidence that Deathstalker was influenced by the Gor novels – it’s right up there on screen. There was NOTHING like Deathstalker prior to Deathstalker. Sure, Conan had slavegirls wandering around naked and harem slaves writhing naked in a throne room but they overall weren’t that sexy and there wasn’t a hell of a lot to them. Ultimately, they were just scenery, like most sword and sorcery slavegirls.

Deathstalker on the other hand used the naked slavegirls to drive the plot forward. The opening scene of the movie with Deathstalker, the slaver guy and the Ugly Guys fighting it out to see who’ll get to rape a half-naked woman in bondage set the tone for the movie. In fact the whole movie is a damsel in distress film, with Deathstalker charged with rescuing Princess Codille (Barbi Benton’s character) from Mad Monkar, the man who deposed the king and also deposing Mad Monkar if possible.

Lana Clarkson: not a slavegirl, but DEFINITELY a plot driver.

And Princess Codille winds up naked and chained to a rock as a prize for Monkar’s warriors. She’s just a member of the harem now, a toy whose sexual use can be given as a prize. VERY Gorean.

Interestingly, Codille doesn’t get a rape scene. She’s captured by Munkar’s minions (also not shown, but fair enough, the movie is about Deathstalker, not Codille) but all she appears to do in Munkar’s harem is stand around and be physically beautiful (which Benton totally has covered). And given the way the first scene (and a lot of other scenes) established that rape is definitely an integral part of the culture of Deathstalker’s milieu, you have to figure that Codille got raped a lot between her capture and her showing up in Munkar’s harem. But nooooo... the character Codille never has sex.

HOWEVER... at one point Mad Munkar transforms one of his men into the spitting image of Codille and orders him to find Deathstalker and distract him with Codille’s charms and then kill Deathstalker while he is distracted by Codille’s beauty. The soldier is not at all enthusiastic about this particular assignment, but that’s one of the hazards of working for an evil wizard named Mad Munkar, I guess. (Benton does a great job of playing the reluctant soldier, doing his duty because he doesn’t want to wind up in Munkar’s dungeon, but not crazy about it at all.) And he was right to be reluctant, on all counts. Deathstalker is completely fooled by the magical transformation and fucked the soldier/Codille. Then when the soldier tries to kill Deathstalker (and let’s face it, this was probably a personal thing for him afte being fucked) Deathstalker foils his assassination attempt and stabs the soldier, breaking the transformation spell and returning him to his soldierly form just in time to die on the bed he’d just been fucked on.

So... that was weird. Transexual themes were not common in 80s sword and sorcery films, as in, I’ve never heard of another one. And the weirdness went unacknowledged in the film, it was just another thing that happened. But whatever you think of the scene, I think it clearly shows that scriptwriter Cohen was willing to include stuff that was seriously out of bounds in his stories, and obviously no one else blocked the trans-themed subplot from being in the movie, either. So if you are thinking that Cohen and company backed off from some themes because they went “too far” think again. This was a Gorean sword and sorcery movie, dammit! (Not that Gor included a lot of trans themes either.)

So if you are thinking that Cohen and company backed off from some themes because they went “too far” think again. This was a Gorean sword and sorcery movie, dammit! (Not that Gor included a lot of trans themes either. It’s a very cishet series.)

No movie made before or since has matched Deathstalker in this regard, but one may have outmatched it in terms of getting into slavegirl psychology: Barbarian Queen. It will be the next movie we review.

"Louisiana Slay Ride" Now on Amazon and Smashwords

 Here's the Amazon Link

Here's the Smashwords Link

Here's the blurb:

“I know oligarchs can get away with almost anything, but setting off nukes under oil wells has to be the one thing not even an oligarch could get away with.”

Those were Honey Trapps’ words when she first heard abut Jacques Ledoux. Ledoux was Louisiana third generation oil wealth, a man who believed in himself but who probably should not have. He had already squandered a great deal of money on various unsuccessful schemes, so much that he was now only immensely wealthy instead of insanely wealthy. And Ledoux’s latest scheme looked like a desperate attempt to recoup his losses.

There were also rumors in the wealthy BDSM circles that Honey Trapp traveled in that some subs who scened with Ledoux never scened with anybody again. When the Initiative asks her to join Ledoux’s harem and get the goods on his nuke scheme in the most sexually submissive way possible, Honey doesn’t want to go. She has a rule about not subbing for even the most alpha male doms if they have bad reports from other subs, and subs who vanish is about as bad as the reports can get.

But Ledoux is rich and connected and hides his secrets well, if the rumors are even true. Only Honey’s unique skills at working her way into a dom’s heart via organs located elsewhere on his anatomy can worm the secrets out of him.

It’s Honey’s most dangerous assignment yet, filled with intrigue, danger and much sexually submissive hanky-panky in Ledoux’s harem. Sex, adventure and intrigue abound as Honey risks her person and her fortune to stop an oligarch from precipitating a nuclear disaster.

This novel is just over 43,000 words in length and is part of the Honey Trapp series.

A Love Beyond The Struggle: How A Billionaire Rape Story Became A Dark Romance

When I first started writing “A Love Beyond the Struggle” I thought I was going to write a billionaire rape story for publication on Smashwords. In fact the working title for it was “billionaire rape story.” I was writing to market, hurrah!

Unfortunately, it didn't end up that way. Early on, it got changed, though I wasn't aware of how drastically it was going to change.

After a bit of thought, I decided on Nero Wolfe as the model for my billionaire. Clearly, he'd make a GREAT billionaire, ruthless variety. But I couldn't do an exact Nero Wolfe map, even if I wanted to. Nero Wolfe had a finely developed moral sense, he was not a kidnapper or anything like it. Archie Goodwin, even more so.

So I came up with a darker Nero Wolfe,  the billionaire Colin Whitworth. He maintains a harem of kidnapped women on his private island to keep him entertained while he makes his billions from green energy.

The idea here is to make Whitworth a force of nature thanks to all his money and power. He's so powerful that his sexual whims, illegal or not, ethical or not, get enacted, and there's no accountability for him at all … his money ensure it.

So his assistant Garth Goodwin (an Archie Goodwin analog, of course) would be a counterpoint to Whitworth who sees his amorality clearly but still enables it. Garth wouldn't be involved in the harem at all, other than helping with acquisitions and disposals. He would be the romantic lead.

And at some point after I came up with that dynamic for the story, I realized that I could write it for Amazon by having all the harem sexual action occur offscreen, in essence. Garth might know all that goes on in the harem, but he wouldn't describe any of it in any detail, not being deeply interested in it.

Which I realized makes for an EVEN BETTER story, because I can make the story chock full of fantasy fuel for harem bondage sexual fantasies, without having to describe any of them (hence complying with Amazon’s rule against nonconsensual erotica). All the nasty, dirty kinky sex stuff can occur in the reader’s nasty, dirty mind.

Sweet!

And that's when the story because a romance, specifically a dark romance. And of course, a very DIFFERENT kind of dark romance. I think it's an interesting and original story of a sort I've never written before. I've written other works that aren't erotica: “Slave Girls Of Outer Space,” “The Visitor From Incel World” and “The Love Invasion” but they were all basically science fiction adventures. This is a straight-up romance with no explicit sex whatsoever but SOOO much fantasy fuel. (Very Gorean, in fact, though Gor DOES have its sex scenes.) Will it work? Who knows?

You'll have to buy it and see what you think, if you like a dark romance. It’s $2.99 on Amazon or free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

Books 1-3 of the Cerberus Saga Now In One Collection!

The alpha male billionaire known only as the Master knew what he wanted from women, and he was willing and able to pay for the very best. He hired a woman wrangler named Nina to create a harem for him. The harem was called “Cerberus” because the women who made up the “heads” of Cerberus, known only by their numbers, were as replaceable as the heads of the mythical hound.

But the women who made up Cerberus were human beings first and concubines-for-pay second, and each of them was a unique and original person. Cerberus One was a dancing beauty, with a body that just wouldn't quit and a mind that was as sharp as her moves were smooth. Cerberus Two was a catlike woman, a classic beauty who looked like she stepped out of an oil painting, and a mind that hid a huge secret. Cerberus Three was a mountain girl, raised in Bug Tussle, Tennessee, the classic red-hot lady of the night with a heart of gold.

Even though the Master's billions gave him every advantage in his relationship with his three concubines, there are some lines even a billionaire shouldn't cross. But just try and tell an alpha male billionaire “no.” All of these strong personalities will combine explosively in a climax that's full of BDSM chills and thrills!

This book includes Cerberus One, Cerberus Two and Cerberus Three, a trilogy that is over 58,000 words long.

Cerberus Two, Another Kinky Erotica Thriller by Me, Now on Amazon

This is Book 2 in the Cerberus series, (here's the link for Book 1).

When you're a sex slave for pay in the harem of a billionaire, you have to be prepared for just about anything. Because with the kind of money the Master had, if he fantasized about it, he could have it.

Certainly, the Master had Cerberus Two, at least, as long as the money kept flowing. All she needed to be happy was a glass of wine, a good book and a growing bank account.

But Master had a fantasy that was so out there that it was scaring their trainer. And that frightened Two. Because Two had a secret. And it was a lulu. If anything bad happened, her secret would almost certainly lead to suspicion being directed at her.

The sane thing to do would be to talk Master out of it. But when Master is an alpha male and a billionaire, he isn't easily swayed by anyone, much less his sex toy women.

Like everyone else in the world, it seems, they were helpless before a billionaire's power. She could handle and even enjoy the kinky, degrading sex games the Master got up to with them, but now something stupid and dangerous was waiting in the wings. And Two feared that it was also … inevitable.

Cerberus One: A Kinky Erotic Thriller by Me, Now On Amazon

Cerberus One is a series of three or four linked novelettes, each one written from the POV of a member of a billionaire's harem of three women. It's very much a character-driven story, and it's been a lot of fun to write. Here's da blurb:

Cerberus was the name the billionaire known only as The Master gave to his private harem. It consisted of three women (four if you counted their trainer).

There was Cerberus One, light and lively, a dancer, a bundle of energy for whom sex was a game to challenge her boundless energy and sexuality.

Cerberus Two was a calm, cool, collected type who liked nothing more than a glass of wine and a book and a long, slow day to enjoy both – and who was more than willing to do all sorts of sexually degrading things to give herself the time and comfort she loved.

Cerberus Three was a rural gal who had made the mistake of falling in love with the billionaire Master who ruled them all.

And the First Girl, Nina, the one who was Named, ran them like clocks for the Master whose money kept the whole game going. Sometimes girls left, but there were always new heads ready to grow on the thing that was Cerberus.

And there was the Master, playful and sexually charged. He knew what he wanted from the women he bought and he took it. His demands were easy by the standards of the kinky pros he hired, but he had a streak of cruelty that he reserved for the one who loved him.

Visit the world of Cerberus One and get to know the world of pleasure, humiliation and degradation that the elite women of a billionaire's harem live in. It's a contemporary erotic thriller that will leave you on the edge … just as the Master likes to leave his slaves on the edge …

This novelette, the first in the Cerberus series, is just over 10,000 words long.

A New Short Story From Pat Powers: "So This Is My Life Now ..."

I have started outlining my novels, though the outline tends to get fairly worked over by my subconscious as I write. But when I write novellas and short stories, I'm still a seat-of-the-pants writer, which means that often, I have no idea WHAT the fuck I'm doing. I just sit down with an idea, start banging things out, and see what happens.

The amazing thing is, I think my subconscious is a better writer than my conscious mind is, and it has PLANS. Plans I have no idea of!

Take my latest story, “So This Is My Life Now ...” It was inspired by porn. Really. It was inspired by this particular porn video. The idea was to use a striking bondage image to create a story. And I looked at it, and my mind did as it sometimes does when it sees a striking bondage image, and it created a backstory for this video (which is, in full, about a cop who gets the tables turned on her and becomes a lesbian mistress' slavegirl).

The Mistress' outfit looks kinda like a uniform, so I immediately had an idea: the Mistress is a rebel warrior and the submissive is the cop who got the tables turned, just like the video. I had a vision of the Mistress fucking the slavegirl on the table as in the video, smirking merrily, with people walking by, making the submissive feel so humiliated, with her huge tits squished against the table and her round ass hanging over the edge, tied down and gagged … oh, it was nice.

So then I start writing, and I start writing about a skinny corporate executive buying an implant that gives you dreams that are experienced like real life, from a snarky, class-conscious, non-sentient salesbot.

What the fuck? Where the hell did that come from? I have no idea. But I keep writing because I kinda wanna know. And because, while on a few occasions when something like this happens, it's gone nowhere, most of the time I come up with a better story than I anticipated.

And damned if this wasn't what happened here, because this story turned out to ask the question, “What if your fantasies were better than real life in every respect?” It dealt with the nature of dreams and reality, how they are experienced and how they affect you. The story got into the erotica very fast, in fact, almost all of this story is erotica, with tons of lesbian domination and submission and public sex, nudity, bondage and humiliation – all the good stuff. Stuff that's better than real life ...

Check out the blurb below:

June Jetson was just an ordinary executive, single and married to her job in a time when jobs were becoming increasingly scarce. Head of a corporate human relations department, she discovers that many of her company's lower tier employees are unaccountably happy. They shouldn't be happy: her corporation, like most, is cutting wages and extending hours for the ever-shrinking pool of employees it hasn't yet fired.

So what makes these wretches so happy? A bit of research leads June to discover that her happier employees are all customers of companies like Your Fantasies Unlimited. June decides to conduct some personal research, and life gets very strange when she discovers Mistress Suzy, a Lesbian Janissary of the Thongan Resistance, a dominant warrior woman who knows exactly how to make submissive June bend to her every whim.

What will happen to June? Can she cling to her rung on the ever more precarious corporate ladder when she discovers an erotic fantasy world that is so much better, so much more fulfilling, more thrilling, and just as real, as her “real life?”

“So This Is My Life Now” is mostly erotica. But it's also science fiction. And it's social commentary. All bundled into one juicy story that will grab you by the genitals and fling you in to the future!

“So This Is My Life Now” is also just over  10,000 words long and part of the Basic universe. Enjoy!

the pic that inspired me to write the story: It's a vidcap from a NSFW bondage video featuring Carissa Montgomery for the BorntobeBound website.

"The Road to Aquibonya" Now on Amazon

You can get the book on Amazon USA by clicking here!

Or you can visit my International Bookstore links and find ALL of my books.

I've written another erotica short with an actual plot. When will I learn? But I did include a helluva sex scene. To wit:

People tried to warn the mage Crom Agnon when he bought a dozen Immortal slave girls at the Immortal Gardens slave auction and headed out of town on the Vanyita Trail the next day.

They told him that between the outlaws and the supernatural creatures that infested the woodlands around the trail, and most of all the dozen Immortal slave girls, that he would not survive to see the next day.

But Crom Agnon was no ordinary mage, and he had bought a dozen of the hottest, kinkiest, most dangerous slave girls known to man for a reason. Well, two reasons. One was exactly the reason you'd expect a man to have for buying hot, kinky slave girls. The other, almost rational reason was related to his plan to journey to a remote town in neighboring Aquibonya, where he would face one of the most fearsome supernatural entities known to mankind -- if he lived to get there.

Note: this story contains a sex scene that is almost 10,000 words long. Sex addiction, blindness and hairy palms are NOT the responsibility of the author or the publisher. Also, this story has been infested with humor. You have been warned! You may take such warnings lightly, but being sex addicted, blind, hairy-palmed and laughing your a** off is no way to go through life.

This story is 26,000 words long and exists outside any known universe.

Now go forth, my minions, and buy this book! There are almost 30,000 subscribers on my Reddit.com subreddit! If only HALF of them buy this book, that means I get ... lessee, carry the 2, divide by 7.348, multiply by -1.45 ... LEBENTY MILLION DOLLARS!?! Go forth, my minions! Buy! Buy! Buy! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Is "Road to Aquibonya" a gamelit harem fantasy adventure?" (with non-random slavegirl image)

I pretty much finished the first draft of *Road to Aquibonya* yesterday. Just go a couple hundred words, maybe a thousand at most, to go on it. I never know exactly how long I have to go because I'm what writers call a "pantser" not an outliner. (A "pantser" is a writer who writes "by the seat of his (or her) pants" rather than doing an outline of the story and following the outline.) I actually do outlines of my novel length stuff, or stuff that looks like it will go novel length, nowadays, as it has certain advantages in plotting, but I'm still enough of a pantser that any outline I create changes as the work in progress progresses.

I have noticed that a lot of stories on Amazon are bieng sold as “gamelit harem” stories, or “gamelit reverse harem” stories. I am confident that Road to Aquibonya fills the bill as far as being a harem fantasy adventure erotica” story because damn: one magical guy, 13 half-succubus slavegirls, magical battles left and right, 8000-word sex scene, what the HELL else would it be?

But … is it gamelit? “Gamelit” seems fairly broadly defined: it is a story whose format fits fairly well with various tabletop and video games. Like Dungeons & Dragons and World of Warcraft. I'm not sure EXACTLY what this means, that's the issue. I feel that my story's mythology fits fairly well into D&D and WoW, but it doesn't have exactly the same mechanics as WoW or D&D. But my character does collect mana throughout the story in order to have a shot at winning the battle with the Big Boss at the end …

..what the hell. It IS a gamelit story. Whaddya know. Sometimes just asking a question gets you your answer.

OK, here's a non-random bondage image. I say non-random because I picked it  for this portion so I could write about it a bit. It's just a pic of a naked woman wearing a collar, lying on her back on a bed. Take a look at it:

Not sure of the image source, but the woman you are looking at is a model who goes under the names "Rebel" and "Brooke Thomsen" and a couple of others. And she's great at provocative poses.

I find it a fascinating image. She lies on a bed with the spread down, naked, a collar around her neck. She is giving contrasting signals with her body. Her knees are wide apart, allowing the viewer to easily see her pussy, but her feet are held together. Her hands are clasped together, but they're not being used to shield her body, she's resting on them.

Her eyes confront the viewer directly, almost challengingly. Her nakedness and her posture on the bed indicate that she is there for the viewer's pleasure. But her expression indicates that she is not necessarily comfortable there. She might be a new slavegirl, not yet fully accustomed to obedience.

But that steel collar around her neck is the capper. It, along with the fact that she is lying there naked with her knees spread apart before you, tells you that however she feels about what is ordered, she will obey. If you tell her to roll over and spread her butt cheeks apart and wait for whatever enters, she will do that. If you tell her to suck your cock, she will do that. She is a slave, whether she likes it or not, and she knows it, however she feels about it.

That's some really nice storytelling. Kudoes to the photographer and the model for creating such an evocative image. I may be reading more into it than is really there, but I honestly don't think so.

Slave Leia In Metal Bikini Bondage

"Oh, great, nowq I have to sedcucwe and fuck every gangster that visits Jabba's palace. How am I gonna explain this to Han?" Image source: Second Life avatars.

A few years ago I wrote a some fanfic/slash based on Slave Leia's appearance in Star Wars. I dressed it up roman a clef style, changing the names and locations to protect the guilty, then put it in my Powerspack of Short Stories. The Powerspack is out of print now since Mobipocket shut down, so I've decided to rerelease Slave Leia in full fanfic format so Star Wars fans in general can enjoy it. I have an ulterior motive: maybe they'll like the rest of my stuff that IS in print. Well, we'll see what happens. In the meantime ... enjoy!

Welcome To Bondage Television

Harem slave girls writhe enticingly around a warrior in a harem scene from "Magyar Vandor," one of four new programs on Bondage Television on Bondagerotica. BYOP. (Yes, this is a dance number: the movie is a comedy.)

I've put together a page for videos on Bondagerotica, modestly calling it Bondage Television, though it should also be called "Bondage and Slavegirl Television" but that seems immodest, and besides, people use "bondage" to mean "slavery" all the time, so what the hell.

Any kind of bondage images from the mildest G-rated advanture pic or 60s television show will be accepted, as will hard core XXX sexual bondage imagery that will make your face melt just by thinking about it. This ain't fucking Youtube ... this is the REAL Internet, baby!

Of course, no kids, no images that are the product of real nonconsensual sex or sexual bondage, because even though this IS the real internet, it's MY real internet, and I don't put up with that crap.

I'm starting with the three Youtube videos I've made to date, because well, it's MY fucking Bondage Television. But since I've already posted them all already, I'm adding the harem scene from Magyar Vandor, a foreign language film, because the scene is fricking HILARIOUS even though I can't understand a word of it, and it's got a veiled slavegirl writhing in chains plus a haremful of slavegirls dancing, singing and writhing suggestively, and if THAT does not qualify for Pat Powers' fucking Bondage Television page, then NOTHING does!

New Starz Channel Series Stars Harem Slave Girl

Gina Gershon, no stranger to onscreen bondage and nudity (seen here in the lesbian bondage romance Mafia caper movie "Bound") is helming a Harem series project on the Starz network.

According to a report in the New York Magazine website, Gina Gershon is helming a new series set in a Turkish (Ottoman Empire era) harem and starring a slave girl to be show on the Starz Channel.

Potentially, this is GREAT news. Starz is the channel that is currently showing the Spartacus series, which I believe has done absolutely the best job of handling slavegirl nudity and sex of any movie, TV series, etc., in existence. If any network is capable of developing a show that can fully flesh out the superheated sex fantasies that harems have engendered in people since the 1800s, it's Starz.

However, the series also has a feminist theme, as it covers a period when the harem became so influential over the sultan that it was called "The Reign of Women." Now, the last movie that dealt with this theme in a feminist fashion was the blood-curdlingly awful movie Harem starring Natassia Kinski. Harem was notable for lacking sexiness, nudity, plot, drama, or interesting characterizations.

I have no idea what we'll get from the Starz Harem, the fact that it's from Starz gives me hope, the feminist theme reminds me of the Kinski Harem and dashes cold water on those hopes. Ideally, I don't really think there's a conflict between sexy, naked slavegirls and feminist themes, but things tends to work out otherwise in the real world.

I'm sure of one thing: if Starz foregoes the naked slave girl sexiness, the series will be a ratings flop. People have come to expect edgy themes, nudity and sex from premium channel TV series, and a harem theme promises a lot of that. Break that promise, and they are doomed to low ratings.

Great-Great-Great-Grandaddy Hiram Powers

Nice butt on that statue!

I'm not one to brag on my long and proud lineage as a bondage artiste, but there it is: I have one. One of my most famous ancestors that no one has ever heard of is Hiram Powers, a sculptor. And the sculpture that earned him his place in the art world was a little piece called "The Greek Slave," an image of a naked, chained woman looking a uncertain and defensive, being naked and chained and all.

Here's how one of my favorite authors, James Burke (best known for his "Connections" TV series on the history of technology)
describes the work in his book American Connections in the chapter on Declaration of Independence signer John Morton:
Frances Trollope (author Anthony's mother) ... wrote "Domestic Manners of the Americans" (Brits loved it, Americans didn't) and set up a money-making wax-museum project entitled "Infernal Regions" featuring dummies, mechanical figures and electric shocks. Most of the show's figure-modeling work was done by young sculptor Hiram Powers. Who eventually made it to D.C., where he sculpted the president and other luminaries, then headed for Florence, Italy. In 1843 he produced his blockbuster (possibly the most influential American statue ever) Greek Slave. The statue of a nude, shackled slave girl, her pose evoking the thought of terrible Turkish perversions, toured the United States for two years to standing-room-only prurience.

Heady company, you betcha! The most inflential American statue ever! A naked slavegirl in chains! In short, the most influential American statue ever was SEXUAL BONDAGE PORN! The more you learn about history, the weirder it gets! And I'm part of it! You, too ... probably.
