In most images of Slave Liea she's either a helpless damsel in distress struggling to survive while being used and abused by Jabba and his minions, or a fearless princess in chains, being used and abused but bravely resisting.
But this Slave Leia is not like any of the others. Her spirit has been utterly broken and she has been changed by her experiences as Jabba's slave. She lies on her back, totally naked except for her collar, chain, cuff and boots, fondling her breasts and toying with her pussy using her ponytail while gazing at the viewer with self-satisfied disinterest. She looks petty and utterly confident and satisfied with her status as Jabba's favored pet slavegirl, with just a hint of a frown on her lips conveying her petulance.
She is NOT the Slave Leia of the movies, the books, the comics and most other fanart. She's just a spoiled little toy for Jabba, and utterly content to be that. All the courage, the wisdom and the good-heartedness that characterized Princess Liea has been eaten away at by all the sex, filth and degeneracy she has experienced as Jabba's slavegirl, replaced by petty narcissism and inner ugliness that matches her physical beauty and sexual availability. (To see the sort of things that led to her breaking, just turn off Safe Search and Google "Slave Leia bondage sex" and you'll find plenty.) Slave Leia will fuck anyone Jabba wants her to, with enthusiasm, becase she has accepted her role as Jabba's pet fully.
I may be reading too much into this picture but I honestly don't think I am. Haden was very economical in his use of line art but he nailed Leia's pose: she does look utterly relaxed, her face is a mask of indifference with just a trace of what might be petty vindictiveness. Her body has a certain sultriness to it, you can easily imagine her legs spreading wide for whatever Jabba wants without a hint of shame. She's Jabba's favorite and she likes that. Her highest ambition is to remain Jabba's favorite forever.
Unfortunately, Jabba is of course scum and now that he has Slave Leia broken she will soon bore him, and into the rancor pit she will go, her face a mask of hurt and betrayal.
That's why I think of this Slave Leia as Hispanic Trump Voter Leia. Her big friend that she adores will not protect her, not at all.
Absolutely brilliant work by Haden. That said, I conducted a Google search and was unable to find anything about Haden. It looks like Haden has pulled down any trace of his existence as an artist on the Web, a pretty common thing for artists who have either figured the game isn't worth the candle or that are being pursued by lawyers, like Disney's for instance.
Adding to the confusion, the artwork above has also been watermarked by Shabby Blue who has MANY artworks out there. Even he is hard to locate for sure. Best I could do is a site called indigocreations.net that is not secure, and you have to register to visit, so I didn't bother.
Mostly I found dead links to inactive sites. There is a "Shabby Blue Profile" site on DeviantArt but it only has three pics on it and many people say it's not by Shabby Blue. I did find some speculation that Haden and Shabby Blue are the same person, but absent evidence, that's all it is, speculation.
