I was initially attracted to this image because of the great beauty of the model, and the direct way she looks at the camera, with an inviting smile on her face. She looks like she is looking forward to something fun.

Then I looked more closely and saw this:


Now THAT is an ingenious use of a nipple piercing and rope. The ends of the bar are pulled up and over the ropes, pulling the nipple out with it. Tasty! I'll bet her nipples are feeling it every time she so much as blinks.

Cecilia Cheung Gets Ball Gagged

Cecilia Cheung is a Chinese movie star of the sort who plays the lead in romantic comedies, sort of a Katherine Heigl equivalent. You see her here bound and ball gagged, an image which got pasted all over Chinese tabloids. The interesting thing about this particular sex scandal is that it's one of those crouching scandal/hidden photos things.

Her career never really took off until she was involved in the Edison Chen sex photos scandal, in which a series of photos of Chen having sex with several actresses of the time were stolen from Chen and pasted across the Internet back in 2008. (Google "Cecilia Cheung nude" with the safe search filters turned off to see the images, there are a LOT of them and they'll be right up at the top, including images of Cheung with cock in her face and pulling her labia apart ... apparently, it was a hell of a sex session.) People went to jail for it, as the photos were in fact outright stolen from Chen's camera. Worked for Cecilia Cheung, as the notoriety got her noticed.

Flash forward to 2011 and suddenly these pics of Cheung in bondage pop up. Everybody is scandalized. But there's a catch: these were not stolen or illicit images at all. They are actually scenes from a short film called "Captive" that Cheung made in the beginning of her career when she was a relatively unknown actress, that was publicly exhibited. This site has an excellent summary of how things went down plus more photos.

Since practically no one saw the short film and Cheung was a nobody at the time, it sort of passed under the bridge until somebody found the photos and realized a new sex scandal was in the making.

The pictures also had a dark undercurrent because Cheung's father was a member of a Triad, the notorious Mafia-gang-equivalents of China, and a "misunderstanding" he got into with a rival gang led to death threats and rape threats against Cheung early in her career.

All-in-all it was the equivalent of a Sandra Bullock "Fire on the Amazon" thing. (Bullock was a relative unknown when she made "Fire on the Amazon" nobody paid any attention to the film until she became an established star) except it was bondage instead of softcore sex, and except for the fact that no one here seems to give a flip about "Fire On The Amazon" -- quite appropriately, I think.

I do have a caveat, I'm looking at this Chinese scandal from a strictly American perspective, I don't know how much of a scandal it really was. In Japan, for example, many mainstream anime producers have also done echhi and hentai (adult anime) with no one really caring about it, and major film studios (Universal Pictures equivalents) have done softcore bondage porn (Wife to be Sacrificed, for example). So, I could have read this all wrong. But based on what I've read from the Chinese media, I think I'm fairly close.

True Blood Gets Sexually Bondage-y

When he invited her over so they could hang it all out, he meant it literally, it turns out.

Well, the scene from True Blood, the new HBO series, occurred as predicted -- non-missionary position sex that included bondage. It's not nearly as wild as I hoped it might be (see image in previous post) but it wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined it could be (see text in previous post). The bondage wasn't overwhelming, and they did manage to show the best imagery on a TV set (a naughty woman is showing a VCR of her tryst with a vampire to her current human trysting partner, to arouse him and get him to tie her up and fuck her like the vampire did, which he does). But the imagery of the "real life" scene just wasn't up to the imagery of the TV scene. Shot from the waist up, basically.

Still, well lit, much more than a blinkie, it was the gal who was tied up, and the bondage, while not exactly stringent, wasn't a total embarrassment (which was what I expected). The really interesting (and good) thing about the scene was that it wasn't Skinamax style sex -- both guys really bang away at the bound woman's butt. Way to go, Alan Ball. The prospects of your version of Bad Girls being tasty is looking better and better.

As the reviewer noted, the sexy woman had to die shortly thereafter. It's like a rule. Makes you wonder how people manage to have kids. One scene of unmarried copulation and you're dead meat, according to horror movie memes. And that's just one of the reasons I think horror movies suck as a genre. Vampire movies, doubly so, of course.

But just take a look at the bikini-clad (it's kinda between a full bikini and a thong) cutie on the right, seen from the rear. Her hands are tied behind her back, and she's gagged with what looks like a scarf.

I'm sure that if challenged the folks conducting this event would have a rational, non-kinky explanation for what is going on.

I'm also sure that at least part of the explanation is "Schwinggg! Sexual bondage flies under the radar again!" Because it's the cutie who's tied and gagged. What a coincidence.

Pleasant, Relaxing Bondage

This is Christina Carter, whom I consider to be one of the most beautiful bondage models ever to wear a ballgag, in a scene from Chanta's Bitches dot com, being dominated or topped or whatever by Chanta herself.

The thing I find most remarkable about this image, other than the ripe beauty of Carter's body is the fact that every single part of her body is radiating relaxation and pleasure. She is naked. She is tied hand and foot to a palette. Tight ropes confine her waist, hips and butt. There's candle wax drops on her butt. She is ballgagged and drooling because of it. Her hair is being pulled to one side (probably for the camera).

But just look at her expression. She looks happy. And not that faked happy, that practiced, forced smile that so many models have learned. Her expression is both relaxed and happy, and that's VERY hard to fake. Her expression, and the relaxed, comfortable-looking way she's sticking her butt out transforms what might be an average bondage image into something remarkable. Now, that's good bondage modelling.

Kaanga: Jungle Queen?

When I did the Wonder Woman story, I found many non-bondage or non-Wonder Woman images that really deserved commentary, or at the very least some snark, but I couldn't use them for various reasons, such as, "too much work for one story."

But now that I have a blog, there's no reason I can't haul them out for some fun as occasion demands.

Take this cover from Ka'anga the Jungle King for example. Now am I wrong, or is Ka'anga looking a little Jungle Queenish here?

Maybe it's the unfortunately full, unfortunately reddish lower lips on Ka'anga -- a very femme look. Or maybe it's his extremely regular features -- he's boyishly, almost girlishly handsome.

But mostly I think it's the way he stares off into the distance instead of at the damsel he's rescuing, and that fakey beauty queen smile he's wearing. It's like he's posing for a photo.

I mean, he's in the middle of climbing a limb hanging across a waterfall to rescue a bound and bikini clad damsel from certain death as the canoe she's in is just beginning to plummet to its doom, and he can't be bothered to even look at her in all her nubile helplessness or at what he's doing as he rescues her. It's like he's saying, "Hey, sorry I've got my hands full at the moment rescuing this ditzy chick from doom and all, but the important thing is, let's make sure we get my good side for this cover shot."

The damsel also seems to be almost smiling. Nobody is taking plunging to her doom thing seriosly, including her. It could, of course, be a matter of perspective -- don't look at all carefully at the various items in the foreground and background and then especially don't think how they might relate to one another. The canoe, the waterfall, the branch Ka'anga is hanging from, everything is wrong. The waterfall is too far away. The branch looks like it's growing from a tree hanging in midair over the waterfall. The canoe looks like it has magically adhered to the damsel because it's been quite awhile since either was near the waterfall.

All in all, a very disquieting image.
