Virtual Slave Girls of Second Life

So virtual … and so hot! (Notice it’s nose ring and clit ring compatible. Now, that’s multitasking!

The artificial cyberspace world known as "Second Life" (think "World of Warcraft" for grownups, where people design their own scenarios) has a very large and active group of roleplayers who like to participate in sims based on John Norman's Gor novels.

A goodly percentage (some say the majority) are women who like to roleplay at being slavegirls at least part of the time. Possibly much of the time. They have an enormous range of costuming available from virtual clothing designers. How do they dress? Exactly the way I say sexy slave girls should dress in sword and sandal/sorcery movies. It’s like regular people like the sexy and Hollywood doesn’t. I thought the media was pushing the sexy onto an American public that has no interest in it. What’s going on? And what implications does this have for sword and sandal/sorcery movies?

I'm a gamer and I have a sideline selling custom animations on Second Life. After a long time submerged in the SL Gor culture, such as it is, I can tell you for a fact your analysis is more than a little skewed. Gay guys aren't playing with female avatars so they can have transgendered experiences. There are whole gay SIMs where they can play as male avatars - which is their sexual preference. One of the best Gorean SIMs on SL is gay guys only, in fact. There are however MANY straight guys playing with female avatars. This is not uncommon in gaming - guys like to play girl avatars so they can look at the big tittie girl in her skimpy costume. And since 90% of the time you're wandering through an empty SIM, they take their girl avatars and put them through their paces trying out all the custom animations on the bondage gear, just like they're playing with dollies. (I should know - I build that shit.) The rest of the time they're playing what most of us refer to as "Disney" Gor, which is shooting each other with bows and arrows like they're playing Nintendo. The other thing that is common wisdom in Gor - and based on my experience I have to concur - is that the vast majority of the women are in their 40's, and the vast majority of the guys are 18. With respect to the fashion - fashion on SL is fetishy in general. There are women who aren't into slavery or Gor who wear silks. They also wear ballet boots and corsets and garters, and they have Zero interest in BDSM. But I make a shitload of US$ selling shibari bondage animations and various bondage devices straight out of Norman's shitty cracktastic books.

You may well be right. We both agree that gay guys like to be male SIMS because that's what they like. And your point about straight guys taking a female sim just so they can ogle it while they play makes a lot of sense. But I really doubt that straight guys would be parading around in public in a female sim, because straight guys don't like to be hit on by guys, and that'll happen if you are wearing a female avatar.

Your point about ages is interesting, but I have no idea how you'd reach such a conclusion. Is this something you might get from message boards or something?

"And since 90% of the time you're wandering through an empty SIM,"

I have been exploring Gor, and you're right, there's a lot of emptiness out there. Then again, there are a lot of huge builds out there. The only place I consistently see lots of people is the Gor Hub.

"they take their girl avatars and put them through their paces trying out all the custom animations on the bondage gear, just like they're playing with dollies. (I should know - I build that shit.)"

Hmmm. Hadn't thought of that. Mostly I've been touring Gorean SIMs as an observer. A lot of incredibly cool stuff out there to see.

"The rest of the time they're playing what most of us refer to as "Disney" Gor, which is shooting each other with bows and arrows like they're playing Nintendo."

I understand that slavegirls can get captured in raids and then put to various slavegirl uses, including in many cases, sex slave uses. Don't know how Disney that is, but I also don't know the extent to which slavegirl captures are an element in raiding and fighting.

I've started a new youtube page, dedicated to "Slave Girls" in mainstream tv and movies. I'm basically going to have scenes involving girls as slaves in many ways such as......

Being a human footrest/ footstool / chair
Slave girls carrying a king or master on a throne / lounge.
Slave girls fanning king/master
Slave girls in chains.

And more.

I plan on adding many more scenes, but if you know of any that I don't currently have. Please let me know.
